The first modern art biennale will take place in Minsk at the National Library of Belarus on June 17. The biennale will include exhibitions of the artists from Belarus, Estonia, Canada, Italy, Germany, Armenia, Moldova and other countries. The exhibition will introduce about 200 art works. Within the framework of the biennale the competition of artists will take place. The head of the jury is People`s Artist of Belarus Gavriil Vaschenko. The main goal of the biennale is creation of good relationships between artists. It is going to reveal and evaluate the trends and tendencies of modern art. The biennale is supposed to become traditional in Berlarus.
