The memorandum on mutual understanding and establishing twin town relations between the municipality of Ankara and Minsk City Executive Committee was signed on November 11, 2007.

The agreement is called to promote collaboration and an exchange of experience of municipalities in the spheres of city sanitary and environment, transport, construction, modernization and planning of municipal economy, as well as in the spheres of culture and sports aimed at the improvement of cooperation between the twin-towns.
