Minsk’s ensemble “In-Jazz-Only-Girls” will introduce its new programme “No Need To Be Sad” at the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society on May 3, 2008. The ensemble is leaded by a well-known musician, composer and arranger Avenir Vainshtein. The ensemble consists of 14 persons; some of them do not have special education in music. Jazz for them is more than a hobby. Most of them were the leaders of different amateur musical bands of Minsk’s enterprises and education establishments. The programme “No Need To Be Sad” will surely be interesting to everyone because it includes classical music as well as modern arrangements. Soloists Rada Naydenova and Alla Zimina will perform compositions by Lui Armstrong, Jorge Gershwin, Issak Dunaevsky, Matvey Blanter and others. |
