Today Minsk underground is comprised of 2 lines with 25 stations, and depots “Moskovskoye” and “Mogilevskoye”. The aggregate length of both metro lines is more than 30 kilometres. In total 3.600 people work in Minsk underground.

It is planned to open three new metro stations by 2011 in the Southwest of the metropolis, and the first part of the third line in 2017.

By the way, our metro is considered one of the best in the CIS according to high standards of service and safety of traffic.
