President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has given an instruction to step up cooperation with investors with a view to decreasing terms of the implementation of investment projects in Minsk. He gave the instruction on June 26 when Minsk Mayor Mikhail Pavlov delivered his report to the President, the presidential press service told BelTA. The head of state was informed about the fulfilment of instructions he personally controls. In particular, they discussed the implementation of investment projects in Minsk by Oman and a large Israeli company, which plans to move the computer plant outside the city. The Minsk Mayor said, investments for one of the projects will make at least $200 million. The President was also informed about the fulfilment of instructions relating to the reconstruction of municipal companies. The President and the Mayor also talked over preparing Minsk for the celebration of the Belarus Independence Day. The head of state gave an instruction to make Independence Day celebrations interesting. The events should not repeat scenarios of celebrations held in previous years. |
