New energy saving technologies of outdoor lighting will be considered in Minsk on July 29-31, BelTA learnt from the press service of the State Standardization Committee.

The use of energy saving technologies including in outdoor lighting and lighting of industrial objects is one of the most important principles of work among domestic companies. Therefore, seminars organized by the Belarusian State Institute of Upgrading Qualifications and Retraining of the Personnel in Standardization, Metrology and Quality Management will be dedicated to this theme.

In particular, Minsk will play a host to a seminar “New energy saving technologies of outdoor lighting” on July 30 and to a seminar “New energy saving technologies of industrial objects lighting” on July 31.

The seminars held by Philips representatives will focus on the lighting technology fundamentals and estimation of economic efficiency in switching to new energy saving technologies, introduction of such technologies in outdoor, architectural and street lighting, lighting of industrial objects. The seminars will include a presentation of energy saving products.

Partaking in the seminars will be members of the interested bodies, oblast and urban executive committees, industrial companies and relevant services.
