The Belarusian physics team will bring three medals of the international Olympiad to Minsk on August 31, BelTA learnt from Irina Kirinovich, chief inspector of the general secondary education of the Education Ministry.

The competitions took place in Vietnam on July 20-29. Eleven-former of the lyceum of Belarusian State University Dmitry Protasenya collected silver. Bronze medals went to eleven-former of Minsk school No51 Egor Goncharov and eleven-former of the Khokholitsy pedagogical kindergarten-secondary school (the Borisov region, the Minsk oblast) Yevgeny Orlov. Irina Kirinovich underlined that the academic background of students in rural schools increases every year.
