For the purpose of rational use of urban areas it is planned to develop underground construction in Minsk. Minsk’s shopping centre “Stolitsa” has become the first massive construction of this kind. According to the head of department of architecture and organization of design works of Committee on Architecture, Urban Planning and Land Management of Minsk City Executive Committee Alexey Martinov in the nearest years more attention will be paid to the construction of underground parkings. The construction of high buildings with underground parkings is considered to be the most perspective and profitable.
